Point One’s HME courses provides training and information to increase an EOD operator’s ability to handle, test, identify, neutralize, render safe and dispose of explosive compounds used in improvised explosive devices (IED) across the operational spectrum.
Point One’s Advanced Treat Assessment (ATA) courses are designed to train and educate certified (HDS graduates) public safety bomb technicians (PSBTs) about the skills and techniques needed to use threat assessment properly during conventional IED responses.
The Special Events In-Extremis course is designed to provide the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively render safe an IED during an in-extremis situation in as safe a manner as possible. The Special Events Joint Hazardous Response Team (JHRT) Training is designed to incorporate various disciplines of bomb technicians, Hazmat/Civil Support Teams, K-9 teams, and medics used during special events operations.
The BTOC Level 1-5 series is designed to provide advanced level training and sustainment for all levels of bomb technicians and bomb squads supporting city, county, region or state operations. The courses are set up to take a newly accredited bomb tech from the entry level to advanced operations by systematically increasing and sustaining knowledge over the course of a career.
Point One’s Advanced Electronics courses provide training and information to increase PSBT operator’s ability to recognize and understand electronics theory, components, circuits, IED design and the use of specialized equipment.
